This upcoming Thursday marks the 13 colonies’ 243rd year of independence from England eventually leading to what is now the United States of America. To celebrate, our area has a plethora of events for all ages and interests. Carmel-by-the-Sea will be hosting an old-fashioned, family-style celebration in Devendorf Park from 12:00-4:00pm with free food and festivities. If you’re looking to see some fireworks, head over to Seaside where a fireworks display will start at 9:30pm at the Bayonet & Blackhorse Golf Course. Looking to be active? Pebble Beach had 4 closed escrows and 2 new sales this week. The top closed escrow came from the Country Club West neighborhood; a single level Mediterranean built in 2007 that closed at $3.15M (7% off list price). The other 3 closings were a 1960’s fixer in Country Club West that closed at $1.25M (7% off list price), a newly remodeled home in Upper Forest that closed after just one week on the market and at $6K over ask (List Price $1.25M), and a Shepherds Knoll condo that closed at $675K.
